Nandi Man Dies After Drowning Incident at Dubai's Jumeirah Beach

A family in Nandi County is mourning the death of their son, Malon Kiptarus, who drowned while swimming at Jumeirah Beach in Dubai on 20 June.

Kiptarus, widely known by the nickname "Skullcrusher", was from Kaptel-Kamoiywo Ward in Chesumei Constituency. Emergency responders were called to the scene following the incident, but efforts to save him were unsuccessful. His death has deeply affected relatives, friends and members of the Kenyan community in the United Arab Emirates.
