Huldah Hiltsley Momanyi has won her party’s nomination for the Minnesota House of Representatives, securing a place on the ballot for the general election on 3 November 2026.

Momanyi celebrated the primary victory in a message on social media, thanking voters, campaign volunteers, donors, friends and family for their support. “MAMA WE WON! WE MADE IT!” she wrote, describing the result as a collective achievement.

The victory marks an important step in Momanyi’s political career and makes her a contender for a seat in the Minnesota Legislature. Her campaign has highlighted her background and professional experience, as well as her commitment to representing the interests of her district.

Momanyi will now turn her attention to the general election, where she will seek to broaden her support across the district and present her priorities to a wider electorate. A victory in November would see her join the Minnesota Legislature and take part in debates on local and statewide policy.

Her primary campaign also placed emphasis on grassroots organising and community involvement. By acknowledging supporters and donors, Momanyi has presented her campaign as a collective effort centred on community participation.

In the months leading up to the general election, her campaign is expected to expand its outreach and further develop its policy agenda. The primary victory gives Momanyi a stronger platform as she seeks to build on her support and secure a seat in the state legislature.
