Kenyan Man Missing in Tacoma as Family Appeals for Help
A 23-year-old Kenyan man, Kevin N. Kamau, has been reported missing in Tacoma, Washington, after he was last seen at Tacoma Mall on Sunday, 24 August.
Kamau is described as having a heavy build, standing about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 220 pounds. He has a dark complexion, short black hair, brown eyes, a moustache, a short beard and a distinctive septum nose piercing.
He was last seen wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans. He was not carrying a bag and was not wearing glasses.
Investigators believe Kamau may be driving a silver Toyota Corolla, believed to be a 2001 or 2002 model. The vehicle is registered in Washington and bears licence plate CNJ9112. Police and relatives are asking the public to report any sightings of Kamau or the vehicle.
Kamau's disappearance has prompted members of Tacoma's Kenyan community to support his family and assist with the search. Relatives are appealing to anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
