Kenyan Diaspora in Leicester to Access Passport and Citizenship Services on October 24
The Kenya High Commission in London will provide consular services to Kenyans in Leicester and across the Midlands on 24 October 2026 at The Oak Centre in Leicester.
The one-day outreach will allow Kenyan citizens to access essential documentation and citizenship services without travelling to London. Services available will include passport processing, Kenyan national identity card applications, emergency travel documents, applications to regain Kenyan citizenship, declarations of dual citizenship, registration of children born abroad to Kenyan parents, and replacement birth certificates.
The High Commission has advised passport applicants to complete the required application process online through the e-Citizen platform before attending the outreach. Applicants should print their application forms and payment invoices and bring all the necessary supporting documents.
Further information on eligibility and documentation requirements is available under the Consular Services section of the High Commission’s official website. Applicants are encouraged to review the guidance carefully to ensure their paperwork is complete before the event.
The outreach will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, with no prior appointments required. The arrangement allows applicants to attend without booking in advance, although those seeking services have been advised to arrive early.
The exercise is intended to make consular services more accessible to Kenyans living outside London, particularly those who face additional travel costs and time when visiting the capital to obtain official documents. The High Commission has encouraged community members who need clarification about the services or application requirements to contact the mission through its official email or telephone channels before 24 October.
