Amos Kimunya Makes Comeback, Clinches Jubilee Ticket for MP

Former Finance Minister Amos Kimunya is a step closer returning to Parliament after he secured a Jubilee Party nomination for the Kipipiri MP seat on Wednesday.

Kimunya won the Jubilee nomination with 16,479 votes, beating the man who kicked him out of office in 2013, current MP Samuel Gichigi. Gichigi had 5,999 votes in the loss.

Kimunya represented Kipipiri for ten years before he lost the seat in 2013.
