The Kenyan government is launching the Kenya Diaspora Skills Transfer Program.
The initiative is designed to leverage the expertise and experience of Kenyans living abroad. This program aims to harness the potential of the diaspora community in driving the country's Bottom-Up Economic Transformative Agenda (BETA). The program recognizes the vast resources, both financial and intellectual, that the diaspora holds. By creating a platform for knowledge exchange, the government seeks to tap into this valuable asset and bolster Kenya's economic, social, and political development.
Kenyans residing in Rwanda and Uganda are among the first to be invited to participate. The program will focus on key sectors where Kenya faces development gaps including ICT and financial technology (FinTech), medical technology, agriculture and food security, the blue economy, and the creative economy. Those interested in contributing their skills will be connected with relevant organizations.
The program offers various avenues for engagement including virtual training and mentorship programs, on-site workshops and seminars, collaborative research projects, internships and exchange programs, business incubation and investment support, short-term work placements in Kenya, and opportunities to participate in corporate social responsibility programs.
Kenyans in diaspora are encouraged to express their interest by registering online at https://form.jotform.com/241143110909042. This program presents a unique opportunity for the diaspora community to directly contribute to Kenya's development and shape its future.

This is nonsense. First solve the problems at home.
They badly want your dollar to solve the problems they have created. You will be heavily taxed let alone being sold hot air land If you buy land or build anything back home. Believe these folks care for you at your own peril!
Is this What "Bottoms Up" Economy is About? Trying to Manipulate diasporans?🙄
It’s called Ruto’s bottom to hell. Ruto’s policies are merely sickening and laden with corruption. Does anyone trust this thief Ruto?
UPUUZI TUPU.Enforcing the law starting with FIRING SQUAD to illegal brokerage thugs and anybody who has raised own salary. Skills cannot help Kenyans in the current system of corrupt, bloated and useless government(s) with many “organs” duplicating each other.
YOU CAN HAVE ALL THIS STUPID CONFERENCES ON HOW TO MAKE PEOPLE IN THE DIASPORA GET INVOLVED IN INVESTING IN KENYA ,BUT WE KNOW THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT YOU ARE TRYING ALL YOU CAN TO SEE IF YOU CAN TAP INTO TO THE REMITTANCE MONEY.
SO STUPID IT HURTS
Diasporains returnees are struggles to be hired both in private & government setting due to corruption & discriminatory attitudes...what's the point investing on it ???
This one's on the house -
1) Stop the corruption - prosecute all bribe takers, no exceptions.
2) Hold everyone accountable.
3) Reduce patronage hires.
4) Reduce the number of counties, ministries, and number of government employees.
5) Institute and enforce civil service standards for all government employees.
6. Hire on merit, retain on competence, promote on leadership potential, skills and competencies.
7) Reduce fees, taxes and obstacles to business startups.
Oh yeah, don't depend on the diaspora.
Can contribute for those wanting to build houses, get em land and process documents like deed hassle free. No one has time for that hence proxies conning em. Like a diaspora estate
Stop the stealing by politicians and others. Dubai is now a Kenya politicians number one investment destination. Hiding away stolen wealth. Open EACC office there. Corruption is obvious. Even a child knows it
If anyone can suggest and it be accepted, corruption is the only major thing here to deal with first. How to end it, that's the nightmare but everything should thereafter fall in place as desired by the Kenyan Government.
