The idea of Dubai-based socialite Huddah Monroe venturing into the realm of religious ministry has raised eyebrows and sparked intrigue.
Known for her glamorous lifestyle, Monroe, whose real name is Sonie Alhuda Njoroge, has announced her intention to return to her home country of Kenya by 2026 with a mission of establishing "Huddah Prosperity Ministries," a church that aims to transform lives and reignite faith among the youth. Monroe's decision to embark on this spiritual journey stems from what she describes as a divine calling from the Holy Spirit. Despite having previously sold her car, believing she would never return to Kenya, Monroe now finds herself compelled to establish a place of worship.
Her vision for Huddah Prosperity Ministries is rooted in inclusivity, welcoming individuals from all walks of life, including Muslims, to a sanctuary that promises to provide peace of mind and life-changing experiences. Determined to set her church apart from the ordinary, Monroe envisions a vibrant congregation, embracing uplifting music and a dynamic atmosphere. She is actively seeking upcoming pastors and prophetesses to join her mission, emphasizing the importance of thorough biblical study and preparation for the spiritual journey ahead.
Monroe's ambitious plans extend beyond mere religious services; she aims to create a space where purposeful living takes centre stage, driven by her profound belief that "the greatest tragedy in life is not death but living without a purpose." As the countdown to 2026 approaches, Monroe's unconventional church has sparked curiosity and scepticism in equal measure. While some applaud her boldness and unconventional approach, others question whether this endeavour is merely a publicity stunt.

Sounds like a social club to me.But then again dont churches pretty much function like social clubs?
I would like to see or read their doctrine before I join them.Right now Iam apersona non grata with all religious institutions.Bty, Idont mean 'the Monroe doctrine'😀😀
Nothing like free untaxed money collecting it every week for some churches several times a week. Why is it that the so called third world has so many believers whose contributions help to maintain the church while in the so called developed world empty church buildings are now being sold off or repurposed into other uses like restaurants, motels or even apartments.Religion is the opium of the masses and she wants a piece ,Pastor Nganga and other questionable fake prophets have shown her the way.
Must have had third eye opened in Dubai. It's a melting pot of all kinds of spirits
Eat and enjoy your tithe. If we all agree not to be tithing. Which is the main reason we have 50 Churches in one street and 5 churches in one hotel on Sunday. How many prosperity preachers will go on preaching. Malachi 3:10 is the most abused Bible verse today.
Deuteronomy 14:22-26
22 Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the Lord your God always. 24 But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the Lord your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the Lord will choose to put his Name is so far away), 25 then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the Lord your God will choose. 26 Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice.
Comrades,
Who are we to judge?
Good business she could be raking in millions
I support only for the reason that the government refuses to establish mechanisms that ensure church opening standards are established and enforced. If Margaret Wanjiru, Natasha, Mary Lincon and Cynthia Nyamai can open a church, why not Huddah??
