Seven Students Killed, Dozens Injured in a Dormitory Fire at Moi Girls, Nairobi

Seven students are reported to have died and dozens of others injured in a dormitory fire at Moi Girls School in Kibra Constituency, Nairobi.

The fire reportedly broke out at 2am on Saturday as the students slept.

Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i says investigations are underway to reveal the cause of the braze. In the meantime, Matiang'i says the school has been closed indefinitely.
