National Super Alliance (NASA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Norman Magaya says that opposition leader Raila Odinga will be sworn in as people's president before the end of the year.
This comes even as Odinga is expected to hold an inaugural people's assembly meeting in Kilifi county on Sunday. Speaking to the Standard, Magaya said the opposition will not reject the false sense of normalcy being perpetuated by the Jubilee government.
“It [swearing-in] certainly cannot go beyond 2017, and so we are talking of this happening within the next 10 days or so. We have to end the culture of electoral impunity once and for all and in this year,” Magaya said.
Once Raila takes Oath of office, he said, will start implementing his manifesto in the next five years. Magaya added that, if the swearing in fails, Nasa will push for self determination.
“It’s either democracy or self-determination.”
National Assembly Minority Whip and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed said the was suspended to give room for dialogue with President Kenyatta's side.
“We did not call off the event. We only gave an opportunity to dialogue. We, however, are noticing that Jubilee are still in an ivory tower and thinks that Kenyans have moved on,” said Junet.
He added: “The postponement of Raila’s swearing-in was just a lull before the storm. Our plans are still intact and we must liberate this country. The leadership will discuss ways on how to deal with the issues on a common front at the Coast.”

There is an alternative on how to deal with this hybrid terrorists. Instead of ruining on them and possibly causing bloodshed the Kenya government should seek the help of UN Security Council so that the terrorists asserts can be frozen and they can also be put on No Fly list.
Magaya and company still looking for traction to stay relevant.
Still whipping the old tired donkey hoping it can regain it's now consumed virility, and perform.
Magaya can't even win an EALA seat, yet thinks he represents many. Look for Ndii and console each other, non performers.
Yes, people have moved on from endless politicking and only losers like Magaya are trying to rusucitate a tired old donkey. The donkey is tired, get another young one to move your commodities. My foot!
Magaya is yapping away as usual. Come January all Kenyans want is to pay school fees for their kids. Most are broke after a rough year full of politics that did not add food on their plates. Are these politicians able to read constituents mood? God help 🇰🇪.
This Idiot just wants the gov to charge him with treaason so that his goons can take to the streets kill, destroy property and initiate a civil war. Raila you are a fool who never even graduated from the communist USSR as you claim

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN NASWA? SHOULD WE BE CONCERNED?
We need to sit back and watch the sideshows, popcorn in hand. Why this waxing and waning on this kuapisha story? We knew that they had shelved this project, now the baying has started again. If you feel confused, you are in good company. So what's happening? Let's try to understand the situation.
More Losses, More Problems - The punishment for failure to win this election will not be borne equally by all parties. It will affect ODM more. Remember Kalonzo slyly pushed RAO to the front so that he could be run over by the Jubilee juggernaut (funny RAO is saying that he hasn't been run over yet he has tyre marks on his face). Kalonzo knows that, and now he wants RAO to vacate the top seat quietly. RAO just doesn't know what to do. The ODM diehards know ejection of RAO is dangerous for them. They have their seats by shouting 'Tinga' loudest. They dread having a conversation with their electorate about their performance. So for them, Kalonzo's aspirations are not welcome to them.
Diminished Bargaining Power - Jubilee has run a scorched earth strategy against NASWA. They refused to go on the offensive (remember the complaints of Uhuru's silence in the face of NASWA intransigence). They engaged the international community starving RAO of much needed fodder to burn brightly. Then Jubilee went for the support base. Look at what is left of NASWA. Luo Nyanza is intact. Ukambani is uncertain. Western and Coast are half gone. The rest of the country have been won over by Jubilee. RAO has little support left. And he is expected to negotiate with Uhuruto. Uhuruto will eat him alive and he knows this. In psychology we call this ambivalence. He is unsure whether to proceed or reverse, hence the back and forth.
In Denial:The End of an Era - We are at the tail end of RAO's years. He has fought the good fight and is aware that there's nothing more or better to be done. His Luo base have no plan B. Once RAO is out, these guys will bash each other mercilessly. So those with succession aspirations are coming up wanting to demonstrate their abilities. It is a peacock dance with the birds all dancing the same style and preening feathers of the same color. It's a sad state of affairs in ODM.
So what next? The fallout. This will be vicious. The cracks are visible, the ferocity is not. But it will happen, let's not kid ourselves. Should we be concerned? No, many of the losers in this last fight will hardly be missed. But they should take Jubilee's offer, create an office of the Leader of the Opposition. It will give them some little wiggle room.
Raila has no agenda. His campaign message has been complaining about what is wrong. And that to him is only to change laws to make him something. He has never said anything he intends to do with Agriculture, Education, Employment, Health, Languages, social issues or any kind of development. If he doesn't shine, he doesn't stay. It has been all about him and the presidency position. It looks like he has no ideas on anything. He has been in government for over 30 years. He should be able to say, look what I did with Agriculture, with ministry of Transport, look at what I have accomplished for people of Kibra, for Nyanza, for Molasses plant, anything. All his campaign is empty politics of disrespecting the constitution. The government should not arrest him unless he commits treason but should be quick to arrest and charge all his goons. Laws should also be put in place to cub the fake news from the media. The media should be held accountable for anything the put out there whether print or otherwise for consumption by Kenyans on anything but more so on a looser who has no respect for Kenyans, Kenya's institutions or constitution.
The government should make sure he is completely isolated from his goons. All his wierd ways of getting to power or remaining relevant should be frustrated. He is no longer useful to the country. He has already damaged his legacy by saying 'constitution my foot'and working so hard to ride on dead bodies which he has failed. There weren't enough bodies to warrant anything so he is still trying.
Raila is a blood sucker vampire hybrid terrorist. He is also a suicidal deranged dotard who is desperately seeking
accomplices to help him commit mass killings in Kenya.
