ODM Candidate Bernard Otieno Okoth (Imran) Leads in the Kibra Constituency By-Election as Results Trickle in

Voting ended earlier today in the Kibra parliamentary by-election, and vote tallying is currently underway.

Results trickling in the tallying center in Woodley have ODM candidate Bernard Otieno Okoth (Imran) leading in the votes tallied so far, followed by McDonald Mariga of Jubilee. ANC’s Eliud Owalo and Khamisi Butichi are running third and fourth respectively.

There are about 118,000 register voters in the Kibra constituency.

The parliament seat fell vacant following the death of then-MP Ken Okoth from colorectal cancer in July, 2019.
