Mtajua Hamjui: President Ruto Vows to Stop Planned Opposition Protests

President Ruto has vowed to use all the powers at his disposal to thwart the planned anti-government protests by Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition.

Speaking in Malava, Kakamega County on Saturday, Ruto assured Kenyans that the government will protect their property and ensure that the demonstrations do not deteriorate into violence.

"I am the commander in chief, nyinyi mtajua hamjui...hakuna mali ya wananchi itaharibika tena, hakuna biashara ya mkenya itaharibika tena," Ruto noted.

“I will not allow demonstrations to happen and I want to tell them for the avoidance of doubt, there will be no demonstration to destroy people’s property, to cause chaos, to stop people from going to work that will not happen.”

Ruto accused opposition leaders of using demonstrations to force their way into the government, insisting that their grievances will only be addressed through legally available channel, which is Parliament.

“The government will not allow the citizen’s property to be destroyed again. We will not allow any Kenyan business to be destroyed the government will stand firm to defend every Kenyan’s business and property,” he said.

He added that the planned protests are an attempt by selfish leaders to cripple the country’s economy and impoverish Kenyans so that they can benefit.

“These people were claiming that the cost of unga is high, they were demonstrating claiming unga prices are high, now that it has drop they are still insisting on going to the streets to demonstrate meaning they were not after the cost of living they have been claiming it is high,” he said.

“I found the price of unga at Sh230 and since we took over the unga has dropped to below Sh160 and I have only used my intelligence.”

Raila Odinga-led Azimio coalition announced mass protests will resume on Tuesday next week, accusing the Kenya Kwanza administration of a lack of commitment to bipartisan talks.

There is not a single government in the world, properly voted into office, constitutionally sworn into office would allow hooligans to roam loose staging demos around the country claiming a whistleblower has come up with a new winner of elections. This is unmitigated madness by Raila that Ruto must stop. As president and commander in chief, Ruto has a constitutional mandate to protect and defend the country against all enemies- foreign and domestic.

    Samoei:

I hate to remind you that you are harvesting where you did not plant.
When our heroes of the Second Liberation were being tortured in Nyayo House and a few lost their lives, you were busy singing the dictators song:

    "Tawala Kenya Tawala
Tawala Kenya Tawala, Rais Moi Tawala Kenya Tawala..."

It takes between 4 years to 7 to finish a PhD. This is exactly what you did when you were a vice president for 10 years. You used the state resources, time, and apparatus to selfishly ignore your basic duties as a vice president just to advance your personal interests. I remember your boss warned you to stop loitering around (tangatanga) and start doing the job that was assigned to you as a vice president but to no avail.

Donald Trump has been campaigning non-atop since he lost the election in 2020 by arguing that the election was rigged. However, the current President of the USA has not stopped him from campaigning or threatened him to stop making public gatherings.

What is your problem? You campaigned relentlessly for a period of 5 years while using all the state resources available to you and totally ignored your duties as a vice president as required by the constitution.

Is it true that you fathered a child out of wedlock while lying to the nation that you are a god-fearing person and that you follow the 10 commandments in the bible? If it is true that you impregnated a college student, you should be accused of what I call "Status rape." It (Status rape) occurs when a person in a senior position demands sexual favors from a person in a junior position who cannot turn down the sexual advances because of her status in the society. As a write now, the former president of the USA is being accused of status rape case which happened many years ago.
You made many empty promises when you were campaigning. Demonstrations must continue in order to remind you about your failure to meet your empty campaign promises.

If you cannot allow Raila to do exactly what President Trump is doing in the USA, its time you quit the Kenyan presidency. When? Immediately.

This guy Odinga should be escorted to his maker, I mean Kamiti maximum. He has sumbuad Kenyans long enough beginning in 82 until now.
He could also be committed to Mathare for a complete and thorough evaluation of his mental condition.
    Mzee, ona thoni nduri!

This talk coming from a guy that hasn’t had the pains of looking for a “real job”.
Has had a silver spoon up his ass since his days as the leader of the terrorist organization “youth for Kanu ‘92!”
Notice he’s never said the word, “corruption” since he was first elected vp??
