Former South Africa President, Jacob Zuma is set to marry a 24-year-old girl, who will become his seventh wife.
Zuma, who resigned as the country's president after corruption allegations will marry Nonkanyiso Conco, who has since confirmed to a South African media, TimesLive that she will marry the 76-year-old former head of state.
“Yes, we are getting married but that is all I can say. I need to consult before I give any interviews,” Nonkanyiso was quoted by TimesLive.
Nonkanyiso is a director at the Pietermaritzburg-based Nomukhubalwe Culture and Youth Development Organisation, which focuses on protecting the cultural practices of young Zulu woman.
Speculation has it that both Zuma and Nonkanyiso’s families have settled on lobola (bride price) and a percentage of it has already been deposited.
Media reports indicate that Zuma and the young girl recently welcomed their first born at the Busamed Hillcrest Hospital. The newly-born is Zuma’s 23rd child.
Zuma’s other spouses are Getrude Khumalo, Kate Mansho, Dlamini Zuma, Nompumelelo, Thokeba Madiba and Gloria Bongekile Ngema. He separated with Nompumelelo Zuma.

Kwani kuna mtu amesema kuna ubaya? This is not anything surprising, especially coming from Zuma. Now that he is retired he has more time to procreate.
This is what shame looks like. Zuma & the other dude from Swaziland ni aibu tupu
When you become too westernized you find marrying many wives shameful, something that was/is very african and was common with most societies in the world but you find it very normal and acceootable for men to have sex with men and women with women and even purport to marry.
IT IS NOT DHAME IT IS AFRICAN CULTURE. IT IS BETTER THAN PROSTITUTION AND SINGLE MOTHERHOOD
And people were here judging a 21yr old Kenyan girl getting married to a 56yr old jungu. Semeni sasa.
Conco ndie mwizo.Wacha waongee.
Bravo bravo mr zuma u need to marry an eight one coz u can afford it n it’s our african culture! The WEST sodom n gormolla can continue to advocate n uplift lesbianism n gaysm n our we can continue advocating for polygamy. So kila race ikae na Utu wake.
I say consenting adults should make their own decisions. That said, I saw the negative aspects of polygamy growing up as both dad and grandpa were polygamous. I wouldn't live with myself if I did the same to my family. No child should grow up knowing that there is divided loyalty in their family unit.
Mkenya Halisi,my understanding of why polygamy existed was for the man to take care of the wives, who in most cases had no source of income other than marry aman(hopefully a wealthy one)And women looked forward to that arrangement. Can you say same of today with women working and fending for themselves? Dynamics of social life have changed since the days of your grand pa. Come we say is kind of socially acceptable, women are having affairs as much as men, very few people want to live on the land anymore,...etc.Like I say else where,"there has been a cataclysmic shift in culture.Whether we like it or not, these changes are inevitable.
" kwani nini mbaya?" Kama wewe ni Mzulu na una uwezo unataka weka bibi 7 Weka. Hata wewe msichana Kama mwanaume anataka kulala na nawe akimaliza aoge - wewe lala naye!! Kwani shida ni nini??? ( Ms Gathoni Was right)
