Singer Esther Akoth, alias Akothee, finally said I do to her Swiss fiancé Denis Schweizer, aka Omosh.
The lovebirds tied the knot at an exquisite garden wedding held at the Windsor Golf and Country Club in Nairobi on Monday.
Akothee wore her highly publicized Sh700,000 white gown while her husband wore a white Achkan also known as Sherwani.
The invite-only wedding was attended by some of the biggest names in Kenyan politics, media and entertainment among them Ida Odinga, Gender Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa, MP Millicent Odhiambo, Jalang’o, Lupita Nyong’os mother Dorothy, nominated senator Karen Nyamu, Lillian Muli, Janet Mbugua, Alex Mwakideu, comedian Njugush, and PLO Lumumba.
The white-themed event saw guests come out rocking elegant attires with a touch of gold, with clear instructions not to wear white.
The bride left Boma Hotel where she stayed for the night with her bridal team and was shuttled to Windsor via a convertible car.
At the venue, Akothee graced the event using a chariot while the bridegroom rode on a horse.
The wedding was held on Akothee’s 40th birthday.

Where are the photos?
Hoping it's not another dinosaur for a husband. Fortunately viagra readily available.
At seven times she has two more to break world record. She's just bringing Hollywood crap to Africa. Filthy lucre
Are you serious that she has been married 7 times! I dont know much about her personal life, but by any measure that body count is high for a woman...
How many men would take such a woman seriously as a wifey material? But again now days people marry for various reasons...
She's a celebrity. An old woman with married kids. It's all about money not marriage. Look at how she pulled in fellow celebs and gov ministers plus publicity
Good for her. Last time I read about her, on Mwakilishi, she as talking about getting some mzungu's sperms from a sperm bank, somewhere in Europe.Something along those lines. Is this what she really meant...?
Anyway, best wishes to them.Tying a knot nowdays is more challenging than when King Solomon did it eons ago...How I wish the King had left behind a book detailing his sexcapades... It would still be on the best seller list now.For now,I can only imagine the honeymoons he enjoyed.
By the way where are they going for honeymoon? Is it being kept secrect to wardoff paparazzi with high powered lenses...?
