Jubilee Offered Me Nairobi Deputy Governor's Position Before Igathe, Miguna Miguna Says
Former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant, Miguna Miguna claims that he was offered chance to be Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's running mate before Jubilee Party settled on Polycarp Igathe.
Speaking on NTV’s AM Live show on Tuesday, Miguna said that he turned down the offer and opted to run for Nairobi Governor seat as an independent candidate.
The former Canada-based author and lawyer said that it was after he rejected the offer that Sonko went for former Vivo Energy Managing Director, Polycarp Igathe.
Miguna stated there was no way he could deputize Sonko, saying: "No, I cannot (work under Sonko). I was approached to do so before Igathe. How do you deputise someone who cannot tell his left from his right?” Miguna posed. "People skirt around this issue. The man was convicted and sentenced to jail for more than 6 months and ought not to have been allowed to run,” he added.
He said Igathe's resignation is as a result of electing ‘clueless’ individuals into office, instead of women and men of integrity.
Igathe threw in the towel last week Friday citing a strained relationship with Sonko.

I agree with Miguna on how he can reject deputizing a criminal/druglord/jailbreaker.Only a thug or a corrupt minded person can work for or with a drug dealer.But you are lying on Sonko invitation to deputize him.Sonko or any other criminal can never go near a loud-mouthed boy like Miguna who even gives dirty deals secrets of his god Raila.Maybe he offered you a job of sweeping RAILA/BAGATHI ROAD and Cleaning govt mortuaries like CITY including Raila's cabin/office,KENYATTA,BAGATHI and missionary one,COPTIC.BURE SMEGMA GUY.

Sonko is not the problem it is the so called Nairobi business community who will not allow the demolition of their cartels.Even when he was "given" more liked forced to have a running mate it was understood this person was there to manage while Sonko`s role was PR.Well the puppet Igathe developed cold feet and has decided to run for the hills .Now Sonko is the scapegoat until a viable replacement is found. Miguna your personality does not qualify you to deputize a junk yard dog thus your story appears at yet another attempt to seek fame.
