Kenyan Woman Loses Eye, Three Fingers in Another Case of Domestic Violence

A man from Kisumu allegedly clobbered his wife, leaving one of her eyes completely blind and three fingers chopped.
Photos of the badly beaten woman went viral on social media after they were shared by a Twitter user by the name John Bosco Juma.
Juma identified the suspect as Joseph Okoth Bonyo from Seme, Kisumu County while the wife was only identified as Maurine. Juma said Maurine was admitted in a hospital in Seme and was discharged three days later.
"Pictured is Maurine from Seme, another victim of Domestic Violence. The husband chopped off her fingers, paralysed her one eye. Was discharged from hospital 3 days ago. Justice appeal," Juma said in a tweet.
Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti has urged the victim to report the matter to nearest police station so they can follow up.
“Please advise her to make a report at her nearest Police Station and we will follow up the matter,” tweeted the DCI on Tuesday.
The incident comes after another suspect, Daudi Nzomo who was videotaped mercilessly beating his wife was jailed for 12 years after pleading guilty.

@guest,Raila would not be the best person to give marital advise. Remember he told his female followers not to have sex with their men till they voted. Any marital counselor worth his or her salt will tell you that with holding sex as a bargain tool is a bad idea. Some times commnon sense is better that some of these advises thrown around without science behind them.
