President Kenyatta Hands Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore Gov't Job

President Kenyatta has appointed Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore to the Vision 2030 Delivery Board.

Collymore has been appointed to the board alongside Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Group CEO Joshua Oigara, Julianna Rotich, Rita Kavashe, Nick Nesbitt and Muchai Kunyiha.

A gazette notice indicates that the six will serve in the board for a period of three years effective December 14th, 2018.

Kenyatta has also appointed former Funyula MP Paul Otuma as the chairperson of the Privatization Commission while Peter Kaberia has been named the chair the Board of the Kenya National Trading Corporation.

Njoroge Mungai has been appointed as the Non-Executive chair of the Information and Communications Technology Authority by ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru while Edwin Yinda will serve as the chair of the Board of the Postal Corporation of Kenya.

On the other hand, Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has appointed former Starehe MP Maina Kamanda as a member of the NGO Co-ordination Board alongside Mary Njoki Ndiba and Joseph Too.

On his part, Treasury CS Henry Rotich has appointed former Mukurweini MP Kabando wa Kabando and eight others to be members of the Board of Local Authorities Provident Fund.

President Uhuru, please you letting the country down, you hire rich, old, former to the gov't and yet there are strong young men/women who are jobless and qualified for jobs, you stated that young pple steal resources, but its better for them to steal and raise their kids than jobless and become thugs

Including a pretty face - Juliana Rotich,who sold an organization she founded , ran out on another she co -founded too and let to Mzungu to run it to the ground and off to raking big money advising on what again - Silicon savannnah is dead as we know it, Kenya tech hub is mediocre at its best..... I guess if you sleep with Uhuru Cousin all is possible.
