Ruto's Son Admitted to the Bar as an Advocate of the High Court

Deputy President William Ruto’s son, Nick Ruto, has been admitted to the bar as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

Nick is among 223 law graduands who have been admitted to the bar by Chief Justice David Maraga in a ceremony held at the Supreme Court in Nairobi.

The graduands were gazetted as advocates of the High Court on December 21st, 2018.

“Hearty congratulations Nick Ruto for being admitted to the Bar. As you begin a career in the legal profession, may you stand true to your calling as a defender of justice, human rights and an avid campaigner for equality and truth,” Deputy President William Ruto says in a tweet.

On December 2018, DP Ruto graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Plant Ecology from the University of Nairobi.

Nick was actively involved in the campaigns for the 2017 general elections and has been tipped to follow the footsteps of his father in politics.

As a parent, what an achievement. It’s every parents’ desire. Congratulations!!!!! and I hope it will be worth to help our dear fellow Kenyan citizens in dire need of. Once again congratulations son and don’t become one of the greedy attorneys we already have. Just stand out and be an example.
