'I Will Not Be Intimidate'’: MP Kimani Njunjiri Claps Back at Uhuru

Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri on Wednesday hit back at President Kenyatta after he accused him of hurling insults at him.

On Tuesday, Kenyatta was in Nakuru to launch a cement factory in Salgaa and later made stop overs in Bahati Constituency where he warned MP Njunjiri to stop him.

“I want you people of Bahati to tell me whether you are the ones who send this person [Ngunjiri] to insult me all the time. Ask him what I did to him? Are you the ones who send him? Because he says he is representing the people who send him,” said Kenyatta as the crowds chanted No.

“Tell him to leave me alone. Let him do his job and let me do mine instead of him making noise on radio and TV.”

Responding to Kenyatta on Wednesday, MP Ngunjiri stated that he will not be intimidated by the president’s remarks and vowed to continue criticizing him.

“It was very shameful because he [Kenyatta] left nothing with our people. Nothing not even promising nothing. All he said is that he will come again.”

Ngunjiri, an ally of Deputy President William Ruto, also refuted claims that he insulted Kenyatta, noting that he only gave his opinions.

“Even when he was coming to say I abused him, he did not mention the words I used. I have been challenging and giving my opinion. What is wrong with that?” posed Ngunjiri, who was speaking to Citizen TV.

“That is not the way to go Mr. President. Call your people and talk with them. The President said that I should be told to let him do his job while I concentrate on my duties as an MP. I would like to remind the President respectfully that as an MP I am mandated to represent the voice of the people and also oversight the executive.”

“I have been faithfully executing my mandate and the President should accept the fact that, in spite of him being the Jubilee Party Leader, I don’t have to agree with his views all the time,” he remarked.

Kimani can not even finish a single sentence without choking. Isn’t this the same guy who was saved by Khalware for boiling in the head when he had been remanded? I rest my case!!

@tuaka - and so in your assessment being an MP is manna from heaven? Sounds like that’s what you feast on; are you?

Kimani
Kenya have the chief Justice who is very close to be the President than you Kimani.
The Chief Justice in his last speech told the President with a lot of respect he can't competate with him & the president is far much higher than him.
Mr Kimani if President is not serving your people you have a president Ruto take him to your constuent and work with him. All your people want is help.

Kimani’s arrogance, pure stupidity, a big dummy that is good for nothing, and his sheer ignorance are the major stumbling blick toward Kimani providing services to those who elected him.

Not sure the level of intelligence of those who voted for Kimani, but their level of wisdom is clearly reflected by Kimani himself! A dummy in borrowed suit!

Many kenyans are now seeing the Uhuru President for what he is. Like Kimani Ngunjiri they know he is all words and no action. Don't be intimidated Mr Ngunjiri tell him!

So you wanna tell me; Uhuru went to Nakuru(Bahati Constituency) to tell wananchi that Ngunjiri is bad-mouthing him! Real dictator, huyu presso is done with his arrogance, dictatorship and ulevi. He needs to show restraint when answering those who disagree with him. Someone mentioned that his mother is the one running the government and not him. He carries his emotions on his sleeves and its not good for the country. Ngunjiri doesn't have to suck up to him!

Is there anything wrong with Mama Ngina running the government!?

I would rather have her run the government instead of Ruto any day!

And didn’t your buddy regularly pick you up from the streets in Canada whenever you regularly get deadly inebriated? That is call being a drunkard!
