Police Seek to Arrest, Question 8 Kenyan MPs over ‘Secret’ Trip to Somalia

Police are seeking to arrest and question eight Kenyan MPs who are alleged to have made a ‘secret’ trip to Somalia, according to reports.

The eight MPs from North Eastern Kenya are said to have flown to the Somali capital, Mogadishu on Saturday at around 11 am aboard Salaamair Air Express Flight WU-751.

On Sunday, detectives camped at Wilson Airport in Nairobi waiting to arrest the MPs upon their arrival from Mogadishu. They are expected to shed light on their secret mission to Somalia.

The MPs include Ahmed Kolosh (Wajir West), Ibrahim Abdi (Lafey), Rashid Kassim (Wajir East), Mohamed Hire (Lagdera), Omar Maalim (Mandera East), Bashir Abdullahi (Mandera North), Adan Haji (Mandera West) and Kullow Maalim (Banisa).

Kenyan authorities allegedly received information that the eight were hosted by the Somalia Intelligence Services, according to Citizen TV. Police want to establish the agenda of the secret trip given that Kenya and Somalia are currently embroiled in a diplomatic row.

MPs must inform the Speaker of the National Assembly before making any trip abroad irrespective of whether it is official or private.

The TangaTanga MPs went to Somalia to discuss illegal arms supply for the DP Ruto’s Armory in Sugoi!

It was just a follow up arms deal to the prior meeting DP Ruto and Oscar Sudi made to Mogadishu a few weeks ago; nick-named Kambi Kuku chicken find.
