"Not Uhuru," DP Ruto Speaks on Being Kicked Out of Jubilee Party

Deputy President William Ruto has trashed claims that President Kenyatta was trying to kick him out of Jubilee Party.

Ruto, through Twitter on Sunday, said Uhuru was not part of a scheme meant to oust him from the governing party, which they formed together ahead of the 2017 presidential election.

Instead, DP Ruto said the plot was being hatched by people he described as “political rejects, conmen and fraudsters.”

“The President & party leader of JP did NOT and CANNOT be party to any FRAUDULENT and ILLEGAL changes to officials of our party,” Ruto tweeted.

He added: “This is the works of political rejects, conmen & fraudsters who's party allegiance is already elsewhere. They should give us a break and leave JP alone.”

Ruto was reacting to a front-page story by Sunday Nation, which claimed that the DP was being edged out of the party he helped form. The daily insinuated that Uhuru has a hand in the plot to eject Ruto from JP.

“President Uhuru Kenyatta is attempting to wrest Jubilee Party from the grip of his deputy William Ruto by appointing new officials and reappointing an old ally,” the article reads in part.

On Friday, Ruto said he had written to the Registrar of Political Parties seeking to stop the proposed changes to Jubilee Party officials, terming it as fraudulent.

“As Kenyans are focused on the Covid-19 pandemic, some shadowy characters are attempting to FRAUDULENTLY institute ILLEGAL changes in officials of Jubilee party,” Ruto tweeted.

He added: “As deputy leader, I have alerted the registrar of the fraud. Party members should know that the matter is being handled.”

A gazette notice dated April 6th and signed by the Registrar of Political Parties Ann Nderitu stated that Jubilee wanted to change the National Management Committee (NMC). Five names had been forwarded to replace current holders of the positions. They include Lucy Nyawira Macharia, Prof. Marete Marangu, Walter Nyambati, Jane Nampaso, and James Waweru.

In the gazette notice, Ms. Nderitu urged any Jubilee Party member who wishes to challenge the changes to do so within seven days.

While our leaders are worried about their personal status, " Africans not welcome in Guangzhou "
Well, well " Moabites- Not welcome in Africa "
Africans- need to keep their leaders on their toes until China gets uncomfortable in Africa and get out and our government brings our people back home.
No Chinese in rural areas- 1st step.
It's time of final judgment and they will be forced to migrate back to their own country.
Wake up Africa!!

Ruto, you kick the dust storm a few day ago and now you are trying to back track?

Are you telling us what is in you mind as we wait for your boys to start talking trash? Then form your own party and resign as the DP! We do not need you!

You should be worrying about the coronavirus and those affected by it! People have died and all you can talk is mafi!

Trying to change the narrative won’t make the coronavirus go away! The coronavirus is not Kinei, Juma, Yebei or Muteshi that you can eliminate over night, play damn politics of defeat to make us all forget!

Mara - you are being killed, Mara - they want your stolen lands, Mara - you are supporting all the conmen and women who are thieving the country blind, and now Uhuru wants to keep you out of the Jubilee party? Can first return all the money you have stolen so that Kenyans can eat? Stop being a idiot!

Can you see that you are no long part of the government regardless of your beholden title as the DP? Find something better to do because we are tired of your boyish nonsense and the childish behavior that comes with it! Grow up, realize that you are supposed to be second in the leadership command and act like it!

Go back to tending cabbages and chicken that lay 3,000,000 eggs per hour, and keep your damn mouth shut! Ghee weeze, silly Ruto!

@ ntulele, Vivian , larry I see you are talking collectively as “ we” blah blah blah. That I refuse to be part of. I would assume that in this case you’ll talking on a self representation of your tribe. A nation cannot prosper within such hideous tribal hate.

@Assists - and you know the bitter truth hurts really bad! What they are all saying is a sample representative of the feelings of all Kenyans about Ruto’s madness about self politics that border the country’s destruction; this has nothing to do with any tribe! The tribal inclinations are purely based on your personal opinions, assumptions, naked desire for your man to be a president, and personal insecurities. There something blind about your sight and vision!

Ruto, stop being a psychotic DP of the Republic of Kenya! No one is trying to kick you out of a dead Jubilee party! You are just hallucinating!!

All you think is politics and power! You think that is what our kids eat and drink every morning? Glad coronavirus has kept you controlled.

You can’t politically spin a national pandemic that is out of the bag. Act like a leader!! It can get you too just like Boris and others.

Please shut your nasty mouth as we mourn those who have died and continue to die all over the world! Get yourself and your muskets together mentally!.

You need to understand the current priority and respect that by ceasing your damn selfish party politics! What if they want to kick you out of the Jubilee party! What you gonna do about it? Would that cure coronavirus? Man of your kind are no longer made the way they used to be made. You are a weak leader. Weak leaders like you make a nation perish just like Hitler caused Germany to fall apart! We are quickly getting sick of you, DP!
