Senator Loitiptip Marries Socialite Aeedah Bambi, Months After Breaking Up with Sonko's Daughter
Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip has reportedly gotten married months after breaking up with his baby mama Saumu Mbuvi.
Senator Loitiptip is rumored to have tied the knot with socialite Aeedah Bambi recently but the wedding was kept under wraps until Friday when each of the two wrote “got married” on social media.
Loitiptip confirmed the news while responding to one of his fans on Facebook, saying they avoided sharing photos of their wedding online to keep “haters” at bay.
Early this year, Saumu Mbuvi, who is the daughter of former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, said she split up with Senator Loitiptip after he became abusive and unfaithful.
“…He almost killed me, I will forever fight for women to stand for their rights. Never allow a man to be violent to you,” said Saumu.
The two had dated since 2019 after meeting in Mombasa, where Saumu, 25, was on holiday while Loitiptip was there on official duty.
Saumu and Loitiptip were blessed with a baby girl in March 2020.
