Deputy President William Ruto Officially Kicked Out of Jubilee Party
Deputy President William Ruto has been ejected as the deputy party leader of the Jubilee Party.
Ruto was kicked out of the ruling party during the National Delegates Convention (NDC) held at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Saturday.
During the NDC presided over by President Kenyatta, new national party officials were also unveiled to serve for five years.
Kenyatta was unanimously endorsed to continue serving as the Jubilee party leader while the deputy party leader position was split into four.
The four deputy party leaders include Kitutu Chache North MP Jimmy Angwenyi in charge of Strategy, Taveta MP Naomi Shabaan (Outreach), former Kajiado Senator Peter Mositet (Programs) and former Buuri MP Kinoti Gatobu (Operations).
Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni takes over the party secretary-general position from Raphael Tuju, who stepped down after consultations with President Kenyatta.
“Thank you for standing with me even at a personal level when I had a horrific accident until now I am able to stand here. We have agreed with the president that he will give me other responsibilities going forward,” said Tuju.
Cherengany MP Joshua Kutuny is the new deputy secretary-general while Nelson Thuya and David Murathe will continue to serve as the Jubilee national and deputy national chairperson respectively. Kieni MP Kanini Kega is the new Jubilee party director of elections while Aldas MP Adan Keynan is the parliamentary secretary.
Jubilee delegates also resolved to kick out all party rebels allied to Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.
“All members of the Jubilee Party that have openly promoted the policies and or ideologies of other political parties be deemed to have ceased to be members of the Jubilee Party and be removed from the party’s register,” the party resolved.

Scenerio1: I agree 100% with you that it’s long overdue. It was only a name in the register to remove. Ruto got out by himself long ago. They may as well take him out as DP. That’s a process. Ruto being out of government at this point is inconsequential.
Scene2: There’s illegality on removing him. He wasn’t given a chance to defend why he should be removed.
In any case he should have been reprimanded failure to adhere will follow removing him from the rank and not as member. Jubilee had a joint venture with like minded parties including the subsidiary of what came to be UDA.

Ruto is beholden to the DP position from r his own protection and titles! He is using that platform to lie to young Kenyans who think stealing is a way of life.
Ruto has set up a greet bad precedence that stealing is ok by the youth. Getting rid of Ruto is a plus for kenya and the entire Africa. He needs to be disarmed of all that money he has stolen.

Imara Daima, Ruto Kipchirchir was not running for presidency in 2007. It was Raila and Kibaki. Raila killed his own share of Kikuyus in western and Nyanza region while Kibaki did his Luo and others in Kisumu, Naivasha, Nairobi and other parts of Kenya. Overall a total of close to 1500 people perished. Caused by two warlords. Raila and Kibaki. Don’t twist facts to fit your propaganda.

As a youth i was diagnosed as paranoid, cause i was bullied due to my name which means "Big animal" and boys always tried to fight me. That being said i also always assumed Ruto is being bullied. He's a man of the church and a true leader. But where did that reputation come from, definitely not because of his name. Maybe he's a thief, a major looter, and as they say where there's smoke there's a fire.
