Diaspora Kenyans Encouraged to Share Feedback as Mudavadi Embraces Constructive Criticism

Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi has reassured the Diaspora community that the Kenya Kwanza government will always be available to engage with them, listen to their constructive criticism, and take action on their feedback to enhance Kenya as a desirable home.
At a banquet marking the culmination of Nairobi's 3-Day Diaspora Investment Conference on Friday, Mudavadi spoke of the Kenyan government's focus on open and honest conversations among citizens. Moreover, Mudavadi acknowledged the key role played by Kenya's Diaspora and other stakeholders in fostering national development. He said that by partnering and communicating fully with one another, these parties combine their range of abilities, aptitudes and wide-reaching worldly experiences for the greater good.
Echoing President William Ruto's sentiments concerning digitalization and exports, Mudavadi noted that the talks are a pivotal undertaking aimed at kicking off strategic engagements that are congruent with the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Action Plan. Mudavadi noted that the thematic sessions have generated innovative opinions, resulting in an environment that empowers the Diaspora community to take advantage of breakthrough investment prospects. The Prime CS urged the diaspora community to leverage their connections to foster socio-economic development in different countries.
Musalia Mudavadi pointed out that the diaspora contribution to Kenya's development process is in accord with the administration's agenda to improve the well-being of many Kenyans, especially people residing in remote areas. Speaking of bilateral ties, Mudavadi highlighted that December 1963 saw an essential milestone in the officially contracted relationship between China and Kenya which has had positive effects for both engaged countries. He highlighted the extensive impact that six decades of Kenya-China collaboration have had on various aspects of the East African nation, such as trade, infrastructure development, and cultural and academic exchanges.
Mudavadi highlighted how Kenya has greatly benefited from the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) proposed by China. This initiative has brought about modern infrastructure projects such as the Thika Superhighway, the Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) spanning 472 kilometres, the Nairobi Expressway measuring 27.1 kilometres, and several ring roads in the capital. During the third Belt and Road Forum in Beijing, President Ruto, along with other African leaders, engaged in fruitful discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Mudavadi shared that the two leaders agreed to further enhance cooperation in the fields of digital economy and clean energy.

MaDVD should establish an online hotline channel where the diaspora can put forward their concerns and grievances to the government of the day! Corruption and good governance should top the list of those grievances, along with inept and corrupt Embassies abroad, difficulties for the diaspora to invest positively due to being conned by relatives and strangers alike, among many others!
Key 🔑 is to create an office to oversee the diasporas issues and wellbeing led by the diaspora community who understand these issues!!! Unlike giving these jobs to moronic individuals who have no clue about the diaspora life and difficulties that the diaspora experiences!!!
I will give you a high five for at least trying to do it the right way!!! BUT without getting serious and virtually eliminating CORRUPTION with serious consequences, all these efforts will be for naught.

@MDVD - Any criticism is very constructive. You need it to change your corruption attitudes and the way you are generally running the country! No body trust thieves and so whatever you say cannot be trusted!
Can you tell Ruto to reduce the international hopping and use that money to help the ailing economy? His office spent over shs 2 billion, and he wants to tell us he is an international tourist while all the signs classify him in that category.
Kenyans are opposed to the housing tax levy! Why is Ruto stifling the levy into the throats of Kenyans while over 78% of the Kenyan people are adamantly opposed to it? The current priority is not housing and Kenyans do not want the government to build them shoddy houses.
What is Ruto doing to stem corruption and bribery in the Republic of Kenya? Ruto has appointed some very corrupt government office holders while there are millions of Kenyans with integrity and good moral values! Why does Ruto think that the affairs of Kenya can only be managed by some corrupt elements?
Does Ruto really know what he is doing besides making millions of empty promises and just hot air promises all the time? Ruto talks of a utopia while everyone else from Gachagua to CS for treasury talj doom and a pending doomsday. What is the truth of the so mixed messages the government keep sending out?
Ruto keeps quoting Kibaki but then he turns around and does completely opposite of what Mwai did to turn the ailing economy around. Can someone wise tell Ruto he is no Mwai Kibaki by the stretch of any imagination? Kibaki was a legend in everything he did while Ruto is just a small rookie in the way he does things. What is Ruto’s plan to revive the economy which has become terribly buttered since he took office over one year ago?
There has been three electricity blackouts in three months. Murkomen seems not to know what to do to fix the problem. Gachagua shamelessly stands in public to defend Murkomen instead of finding solutions to the problem. What is really wrong with the DP mental faculties?
Can Ruto fire Murkomen and put someone else in that docket to get the job done? Gachagua and Murkomen are just Bartman and Robin all mixed in the same pot. No one can help the other because their myopic set of minds are archaic and lack visionary ideas toward the future of Kenya.

MDVD - you put inexperience Dispora CS Njogu to deal with Diaspora matters(affairs) and everyone in the diaspora do not want to gamble with a young kid without much experience in diaspora matters.
We do not need a pretty face that does not know what the hell she is doing. You need a seasoned person who has lived, worked in the diaspora and one who knows the ins and outs of the diaspora life.
And, I am not talking about selfish characters like Shem Odhuodo who is out there to reignite his dead political career back in Ragwe! We in the diaspora are serious people and the last thing we want to do is deal with weak creatures who can’t do our bidding.
