Kenyan Man in Belgium Arrested after Stabbing Wife to Death
A 55-year-old Kenyan man based in Belgium has been arrested after allegedly killing his wife.
Belgian newspaper HLN reports that James Ololo drove to his wife’s house to plead with her to terminate a court case in which she applied for divorce.
James Ololo then refused to leave the residence and ended up engaging in a fight with Elizabeth Wafula Ololo and ended up stabbing her multiple times. Neighburs informed police of the incident, who arrived and arrested him.
Neighbors said James Ololo has been engaging in frequent domestic confrontation with the deceased contributed mostly by alcohol and infidelity.
A prosecutor in charge of the region where Elizabeth was living said James Ololo grabbed a knife and stabbed Wafula several times after a quarrel ensued. “The victim ultimately succumbed to her injuries,” Gilles Blondeau added.
James Ololo and a friend known as Simeon Situma founded a company Kenya Experts Community a few years ago to assist Kenyans relocating to Belgium to establish businesses.
Elizabeth was a business lady and a member of the Association of Kenyan Diaspora in Belgium and Luxembourg and she is known for her charity works such as the Children’s Perfect Hope Foundation.
Close friends of Elizabeth said she had tried to separate with James for two years, but he has increasingly turned aggressive.

The problem here is that this guy 55 yrs seems to be a Gold Digger taking Advantage of Older Women.
This is a tragedy. The article says Mr.Ololo is 55 years old,but does not state the age of his estranged/deceased wife.How do you manage to conclude that he was a gold digger taking advantage of older women?
It is a pity, I am a victim of serial abuse by my ex husband. i went thro torture.
Where do you get stuff from? Where does it say the woman was older than him? Killing is not okay but we cannot judge the guy before we know all the facts.
So saddening indeed. Wonder if Belgium have civil and criminal protection or restraining order options to protect the victims from potential harassment and abuse. Look at that picture, the guy has his tusker besides him.

I know personally this person. My opinion is: we should not judge him. Anybody can arrive in situation when the solution is not easy. We don’t have to judge him. You can imagine that this person will arrive in prison with other criminals.
He will receive how many years? That will be enough for him to spend his remaining life in jail. My opinion is very very sad. I knew the man he was let say kind an relax person. Voilà... we cab arrive in different situations, the life is not easy sometimes. I am so sorry for the wife who was murdered. I think he regret this so much. He won’t kill him I think in case he got a chance to go back in time. This is an excellent example: we don’t have two lifes to live. We have to appreciate our life and our wife’s too.
Truth is, they were never married. Truth is that she took James in the house as a good Samaritan when he had fallen upon hard times. He asked for a few weeks and rest is now history. During the court case the truth will come out but it will not never return Elisabeth to us. Nobody knows what possessed James but justice will be served in Belgium too.
All I can say is even if he regrets a million times is actual name has changed to a murderer and Belgium’s laws he will never see the sun again there’s no kitu kidogo. Thank you God have mercy on the two families
what do you mean they were not married? their last names are the same and the dispute was about divorce. What are you talking about?
