Kenyans in Diaspora Call for Peaceful Election on Thursday

The Kenyan Diaspora community in Baltimore, Maryland has sent out an appeal to Kenyans to turn out to vote in large numbers on Thursday’s repeat presidential election, and do so in a peaceful manner.

The Diaspora community further urges those who do not wish to vote to give those who choose to exercise their democratic right to do so without interference or intimidation. “We request all Kenyans to allow each other to exercise their democratic right freely without interference,” reads a message from the community.

Kenyans, including political leaders, have also been asked to refrain from inciting their supporters to violence, and to support the constitutional bodies, particularly the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and all its officers who will be conducting the election at the polling stations countrywide on Thursday.

Because of the Book of ISAIAH 59 about Kenya, GOD is Going to Watch Kenya and It's Leaders very CLOSELY, (and with VENGEANCE unless we REFORM Our Attitudes toward the IMMUNITY we Leaders Give to IMPUNITY). Amen!!!

I agree. And impunity is what we saw with demonstrations in the previous week.None should be above the law including those with relatives in Judiciary.
