Skills Database for Kenyans in the Diaspora

The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Washington, DC has opened a portal where Kenyans in the Diaspora can submit their professional, academic, and business skills.

The Embassy says that the “exercise is not only aimed at collecting information for planning purpose but also take stock of key skills available outside the country that the Ministry can leverage on for National Development as envisaged in the Diaspora Policy and Kenya Vision 2030.”

The Embassy requests Kenyans in the Diaspora to submit their skills by Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 at kenyaembassydc.wufoo.com/forms/z1k70ybt1f4it1l.

Please don't cooperate. They'll do exactly what you fear. They can just continue with the random stats and assumptions. Look at Zuckerbag. Websites continue to collect and share information.

No one should cooperate with you, if you want such information we have to get something in rerurn. How is my information going to help you in your planning?planning for who?, when we call embassy we more often don't get a issues solved and now you want to continue your planning? For who? A very silly idea

The good for nothing Kenya Embassy in DC. We will use this form to report those rude staff who work in that office. We know their names.

They need to open a portal where we can apply for jobs back home and see current job openings. They just want us here so we can continue sending remittances back for the corrupt to steal. Stupid stupid gov with nothing to show for but SGR

Good idea @ufisadi....open a portal where diasporans can search for Government and other sectors jobs.... then get the info you need from the chosen candidates. Personal information is SENSITIVE in the diaspora...totally different from what it is in Kenya. The Diaspora forte within GoK should be held by ex-diasporans....they'll most probably preempt similar missteps as this.

They want to see where they can get money to replace what they have been looting.

Recently, they have asked Kenyans to register ati your property abroad, so that they can tax you
