Kenya USA Diaspora Sacco Inks Deal with Real Estate Firm Optiven

Kenyan property firm, the Optiven Group has signed a deal with the Kenya USA Diaspora Sacco (KUDS).

Under the agreement, members of the Kenya USA Diaspora Sacco will be given easy access to loans in order to acquire property from Optiven Group.

They will also have an opportunity to choose which of the 12 projects Optiven is currently undertaking they will invest in.

The signing of the agreement was done at the Optiven headquarters on Barclays Plaza, Loita Street in Nairobi on Monday and was witnessed by representatives from the real estate company and the Kenya USA Diaspora Sacco.

“The partnership is an open door for
investors who are members of the SACCO to ensure that they make their lives better by buying land from the various projects that are on offer within the Optiven Group portfolio," said Optiven CEO George Wachiuri at the agreement signing event.

On his part, KUDS Chairman Simon Nyagah said: “This agreement is an opportunity for members of the Kenya USA Diaspora Sacco to be economically and socially empowered through acquiring properties."

Nyagah added that "as a Sacco, we are determined to lift the profiles of our people in the
knowledge that finance should not be a problem to our members. Under this agreement with Optiven Group, we are confident that our members will benefit without the hustles that have been witnessed for investors in real estate.”

This is a very good partnership that will enable our brothers and sisters in Diaspora to easily access their property investments back at home.
Congratulations Optiven Ltd and KUDS.

This is impressive I have bought land with Optiven and they handled me professionally. Their took me to view my plot ,and gave me an option of paying in 24 months.
This partnership is to economically empower us in diaspora.

Mr Wachiuri,we need honesty and transparency. We in the Diaspora have been let down a lot, even by our own relatives. What happened to Kilimo Tujijenge? You convinced us to purchase land and introduced us to SME,a company that you only know. This company did not install greenhouses as promised. We were supposed to be paid twice a year after the crops were harvested. It has been almost 2 years and we don't have a clue about what happened! It is our understanding that you have a case in court against SME but our money remains with you!I hope this time you will be honest and do the right thing.

Based on what you just said about Wachiuri and Kilimo Tujijenge: I would stay too Far away from any Deal with "Wachiuri" name on it. Nb: "Deal makers" like Wachiuri are like Lawyers/Judges. They "passionately" argue "against" each other (in Court) in Daytime; but come Nighttime, they're together somewhere DRINKING and making Shady deals in some Bar to Deceive and Exploit clients they "Claim to Represent."

Mmmhhh did I say I'm skeptical, here is an example. They take your money, it bears interest for them or even maybe trade on the stock market with it ( makes a killing ) etc, then 2 years down the road you are still waiting for investment to appear. And that is how it is done by most

Brethren, if you run with your doubles, run and run. Am in Kenya right now and....oooooh boy, listening to this hyperactive Optiven on Kameme tv, walking around to nosy their overly advertised sijui plots, I have eaten mandazi instead. Ask yourself, where Dr Prof Ngare of Gakuyo real estate. All those interstate campaigns stretching from California to east coast, west coast...everywhere. Hate Kenya humsikii. Kenyans ni wa choral and you can see what's happening at KPC, Kplc, Cereals board, Nhif, everywhere. Dish your money to this young ambitious and realist at your own peril. Use lawyers in everything you do before the bomb explode.

This is a trusted company. Visit them, send representatives to visit them on your behalf.

I invested with them and I have no regrets. They facilitated my Lawyer from the beginning to end.

Christine, just because it went well with you doesn't mean the guy can be trusted! I've also bought a clean plot with Gakuyo & settled on it, but where is he now? People change bwana! especially when they start swimming deeper in money!
