US-Based Kenyan Bishop Admonishes Kenyans Who Go Drinking Alcohol at Funerals in the US
A US-based Kenyan bishop has blasted some Kenyan immigrants living in the US, accusing them of tarnishing the good reputation of the community.
Bishop GG Gitahi of Kenyan American Community Church (KACC) in Marietta, Georgia castigated the group over what he described as “unacceptable behaviors.”
During his sermon last Sunday, Dr. Gitahi mentioned that the individuals carry and drink alcohol during funerals and went on to note that he wished that such people remained in Kenya to “save us the embarrassment.”
“If you are one of those people, you are an embarrassment to the larger Kenyan community in the US,” he noted.
He added: “Ni aibu kubwa mnatuletea hapa. Instead of people waiting to go and have their beer at home, wanaenda kwa funeral Homes na kutoa bia na kuanza kunywa. Halafu Director wa Funeral Home anasema Pastor, can’t your people have manners? Tabia zingine tuache. Ndiyo sababu tunajiaibisha.”

The biggest problem with Kenyans in US is their Addiction to Hate, Envy, and Jelousy. Alcoholism is just to a few Kenyans.
I wonder why the bitterness....beer has nothing wrong with it,it is the person in a person that matters no matter if one have drunk beer or not.Infact beer drinkers are the most innocent creatures on earth for they dont fake their person as this preachers does.Let us be real in what is God's free given life to which we are called to live it responsibly without admonishments that iam better than you because i dont drink.

Bwana Bishop, that is an individual's behavior. Just don't crowd all Kenyan living in the US into that category. Don't tell us that the church as an institution has also failed to teach well.
When the church is broke, the pastor asks the congregation to increase the offering and tithe and when the congregation(you) is broke, the pastor asks them to pray about it!

i have to confess i am one of them,better drink beer than be a preacher molesting kids or this cna molesting old people so pastor even in American re-pass people drink,so shuuuuuuuuut up
