Kenyan Man Killed in a Hit-and-Run Accident in Woodbridge, Virginia

A Kenyan man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Woodbridge, Prince William County, Virginia on Tuesday night.

The man identified as 30-year-old John Tumuti Ng’ang’a was struck by the driver of a red sedan car who did not stop, according to Prince William County police.

The accident happened at 7.15 pm in the area of Caton Hill and Telegraph roads in Prince William County. Ng’ang’a was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.

Officers investigating the incident said it was unclear if the victim was in the crosswalk at the time of the crash or if he had the signal to cross. Police are still searching for the car and driver who was traveling east on Caton Hill Road, approaching the intersection with Telegraph Road, when he struck the pedestrian.
