The lifeless body of Seth Odongo Aloo was discovered floating on the river on Friday, March 27th, nearly three weeks after he went missing.

On March 8th, police and Avon fire and rescue department acted swiftly after receiving reports of a man in the river near Avon Street Car Park.

A search mission was launched immediately but was called off after the team found nothing, having combed the entire area for several days.

“We are asking all friends, colleagues, and acquaintances of Seth to please join the family in raising the required £5,000 to repatriate the remains of Seth back to Kenya and give him a dignified in send-off in accordance with Luo culture and customs,” the family appeals.

We have to start burying in countries where our loved ones die. Is it even possible to fly the body home.....or even get it from Nairobi to Kisumu; leave alone Naivasha? It's sad, I know, but times seem to have changed. Poleni.

To those of us who are planning on committing suicide, let’s also “financially” save towards our suicides. Leave behind funds for your funeral and leave the “gofundmes” for the ones who are not choosing to die.

How can you even send a decomposing body which has been in the water for 3 weeks. It's not practically possible. Save that money for the kids future use. cremation and local burial. I dont mean to sound arrogant but this is the painful truth.
