Kenyans and Other Africans Evicted from Their Houses in China over Claims of Spreading Covid-19
Kenyans and other Africans in China have been thrown out of their houses and forced to live in the streets over allegations of spreading coronavirus, according to reports.
The racial profiling of Africans was reportedly fueled by a report by Chinese health authorities, which indicated that 61 out of the 63 cases of Covid-19 recently recorded in mainland China were imported.
Africans are also being denied access to the subways, supermarkets and other public spaces over the same allegations. Brenda, a Kenyan woman living in Beijing, said she was recently blocked from entering a subway because of her skin color.
“I had even bought a ticket, but they told me that they were not allowing foreigners into the subway, I could not argue with the locals, so I complied,” Brenda told Citizen TV on Thursday.
She also said he was evicted from her apartment with her belongings and spent two nights in the streets.
“The Kenyan embassy was not responding to my calls and when they did, they told me to report the matter to the police,” she said, adding that she spent three hours at a police station and did not get any help.
She is presently being hosted by a Zimbabwean national in a tiny room alongside three other people. Brenda further revealed that she is aware of two other pregnant ladies who have since been served with eviction notices.
Reports indicate that landlords across China have been served with notices asking them to evict people of African descent from their properties.
Following the reports, Kenyans on social media have demanded the immediate evacuation of Kenyans from China.

Have we forgotten so soon? Some Kenyans roughed up some Chinese guys over corona, the Chinese ambassador in Kenya warned us all that we cannot discriminate against Chinese people over corona virus. We have not heard a word from our Kenyan ambassador in China or our government regarding this discrimination and racism in China.
Kenyans are sleeping in the streets in China, while Chinese people in Kenya are getting special treatment from our government- calling us monkeys, including Uhuru and whipping adult employees like animals. You get the picture?

Where is the African Union when you need it? Where is the UN to raise the alarm? No one in the world power structure is condemning it. This reckless open discrimination goes to show how the people of the world are comfortable with blacks people's pain and suffering. By now, it should be obvious to us that no one will save us but ourselves.
