Popular Mugithi Singer Samidoh Apologizes After Cheating on His Wife with Nairobi Politician Karen Nyamu
Celebrated Mugithi singer Samuel Muchoki, better known as Samidoh, has apologized to his family and fans after cheating on his wife with Nairobi politician Karen Nyamu.
Through social media on Tuesday, Samidoh admitted that his clandestine relationship with Nyamu led to the birth of a child, whom he is taking care of.
“I am sorry!!! I have put my family and myself in a bad situation. It is true I had a friendship with Ms. Karen Nyamu and its this involvement that led to the birth of an innocent child whom I have and will always support both emotionally and materially. I am a proud father to my children,” said Samidoh.
The Wendo Wi Cama hit-maker spoke out after a video of him holding his baby with Nyamu went viral on social media. The clip was first shared by Nyamu on Instagram.
“I am however perturbed by the motive and timing of these past videos which have led to unnecessary trolling of the child and my wife, I have never left my wife of 11 years for another woman. I apologized to her and my family before,” said Samidoh.
He added: “I now apologize to you my fans for setting a bad example. I take full responsibility for my mistakes which I regret. We have had our own shares of ups and downs but we are stronger and happy together.”
Nyamu, a lawyer by profession, is a former Nairobi Woman Representative aspirant.

One cannot regret having a baby, it's always a joy. He can even have more joy by taking primary custody of the baby. And he can even do better by having a 2nd wife.

@imkgoogo, there is no joy that come with having children out of wedlock with slay queens. Slay queens use those kids they have with different men as a source of income. This slay queen will be demanding money from her 2 baby daddies. I work with a dude who had 6 kids with different women. No matter how had he worked he could not afford to pay child support to all those 6 women. He was in and out of prison all the time.
