A family in Kileleshwa, Nairobi has shocked many city residents from the estate after placing a Sh10,000 reward for anyone with information of the whereabouts of their missing cat.
According to Ms Debbie Todd, the family’s cat has been missing in the last one week and the family was ready to offer Sh10,000 token to anyone who will help them get the pet back.
Speaking to Nairobi News Thursday, Debbie said that their cat known as Miller vanished from their home in Kileleshwa off Mandera Road on June 1 and has left the entire family troubled.
“Yes, our cat strolled from our home on Madaraka day and she has not returned. We do not know what happened but we are very worried,” she said.
She said that the family suspects that someone might have stolen the pet because ‘she has irresistible cuteness’. “Maybe somebody saw her and decided to keep her because she is very beautiful and she did not have a collar. She is really adorable, ginger in color, petite body and really fluffy,” she said.
Debbie revealed that her family was quite attached to the cat and even her children were in agony for missing her. “My kids miss her, I miss her. We all do and that is why I am giving the reward for any information on her whereabouts or what happened to her,” she added.
The family placed posters of the missing pet on social media and along the streets and pledged to reward ‘handsomely’ anyone who returns her.
