President Uhuru Kenyatta alleges that the Opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) have sensed defeat and has resorted to preparing ground to reject the outcome of the August poll
Uhuru has said the latest claims by the National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders on the ballot papers printing tender was part of their plot to reject the presidential results come August.
Speaking on Sunday during a whirlwind tour of Kiambu County, Uhuru called the opposition calls to have presidential results announced at the constituency level as ‘noise’.
"All this noise you are hearing from the Opposition is only meant to precipitate a crisis that will lay the ground for the rejection of the presidential election results and force a coalition government," said the Head of State.
He urged residents of his home county to turn up in large numbers and ensure Jubilee government is re-elected, so it will continue the transformation agenda it has started.
"All I am appealing to you people of Kiambu is not to fail me come August 8. I urge you to turn up in large numbers come August 8 so that we win this election and hand the Opposition a resounding defeat," he said.
"We have connected millions of Kenyans to power, ensured mothers are delivering free of charge, equipped our hospitals. We want to continue with that work and do more," said the president.

@GUEST1: NASA plans to rig but when caught with hand in the cookie jar, they scream they will boycott. All the noise is about nusu mkate. It ain't gonna happen. NASA needs earn the full loaf or no slice at all.
SOKORA. Let me say it again (to avoid SELECTIVE Listening/Reading):
"NASA will Reject RIGGED Election (whether RIGGED by Jubilee, NASA, the Corrupt IEBC and High Court). That's it
All Kenyans whether they are in Jubilee or Nasa should support the IEBC. IEBC is working hard to deliver a free and fair election.Any Party that gets defeated should make plans to accept defeat.Accepting Defeat in a democracy should be considered a patriotic duty. Those that have issues with any of the election results should seek redress in the courts. All candidates and their supporters should conduct themselves in a civil and peaceful manner. This is Democracy 101.
Kim very true but haven't u heard this stinking war monger poverty stricken idiot stating clearly for the last 6 months that no going to courts.Heeeee he thinks going on the street destroying pples bizness n stoning innocent is ok.Mungu moja Wr very ready thiz time to protect our bizness n trust me we won't even allow a fly to lean on our gates!!
@GUEST1: Gladly you acknowledge NASA is out to rig as was evident during primaries. You recall the Oburu case? I don't think the other side will rig; unless they realize they are being rigged by NASA. Then the question will be; who is the bigger thief.
NASA plans to REJECT RIGGED polls. That's it.
