Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho is in the Islamic most sacred city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia on the Hajj pilgrimage.
Joho said that he will be taking his moment during his stay there to pray for National Super Alliance (NASA) victory in the August 8 elections.
The governor on Monday released a video on his Facebook page stating that he would be in Mecca on a 10-day pilgrimage, to among others, ask Allah to grant the opposition victory in the upcoming elections.
The Orange Democratic Party deputy party leader called on NASA supporters to remain committed in their pursuit to end the Jubilee administration reign in power, adding that he will be hitting the ground running after he returns from Mecca.
“Wana NASA mambo, as you all are aware that we are in the month of Ramadhan, so, the last last 10 days mimi nataka ku focus kwa maombi as I have done for many years na ntaenda kuomba kwamba mungu atupatie nguvu we succeed in this election,” said Joho in the video clip.
