Uhuru Cracks the Whip, Sacks All Members of Kenya Ferry Services Board

President Kenyatta has cracked the whip on Kenya Ferry Services (KFS) board following an accident that claimed the lives of a Kenyan woman and her daughter.

35-year-old Mariam Kighenda and her 4-year-old daughter Amanda Mutheu died after their car rolled from a ferry midstream and plunged into the Indian Ocean on September 29th.

A week after the bodies of the two and the car wreck were retrieved from the seabed; President Uhuru has sent home all members of the KFS board.

Kenyatta revoked the appointment of Dan Mwazo as Chairman of the KFS board in a special gazette notice dated October 16th. He also rescinded the appointments of KFS members Daula Omar, Naima Amir, Philip Ndolo, and Rosina Nasigha Mruttu.

“IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 7 (3) of the State Corporations Act, I, Uhuru Kenyatta, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces of the Republic of Kenya, revokes the appointments* of—Dan Mwazo, Daula Omar, Naima Amir, Philip Ndolo, Rosina Nasigha Mruttu, as Non-Executive Chairperson and members of the Kenya Ferry Services Limited, with effect from the 16th October 2019,” reads the notice.

The president of 254 didn't drink last night! You finally work up from your alcoholism and did what you are supposed to do. The issue is you woke up after the loss of 2 precious souls due to negligence of your KFS appointees.
No complacency with SAFETY!!!PERIOD!!!!! Preach it every day, and everyone goes home to their loved ones.

Who will sack Uhuru? He should have been the first to be shown the door. He appointed those he is firing. Why wait for a tragedy to act? Be preemptive!

guys guys, this Kibowen fool is attacking me and trying to speak to me in Kaleo. I won't acknowledge that, I AM A KENYAN 1ST BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE. BEING KENYAN MEANS MORE THAN BEING FROM A TRIBE. let people speak the truth. Ruto is a disaster and should be in prison, not parliament.
