Kenyan Pastor Who Defiled and Impregnated His Two Daughters Imprisoned for 140 Years
A Kirinyaga pastor who pleaded guilty to defiling and impregnating his two daughters was on Thursday jailed for 140 years.
51-year-old Pastor John Gichira was handed the sentence by Baricho Senior Principal Magistrate Anthony Mwicigi.
The offender was slapped with a 70-year jail term for sexually assaulting each of the two girls aged 14 and 16 years.
The magistrate ruled that the sentences will run successively, meaning Gichira will spend 140 years behind bars.
Gichira, a pastor at a local Akorino church in Ndia Constituency, admitted to committing the offenses when he appeared in court on January 5th.
He blamed the devil for his wrongdoings and asked for forgiveness from his children and the court.
The court heard that the accused committed the first offense on diverse dates between 1st to 30th of June, 2019, and the second offense between 1st and 31st of August, 2020 in Kianyakiru village in Ndia.
One of his two daughters is five months pregnant while the other has a seven-month-old baby.
Gichira went underground last month but police smoked him out of his hideout in Mbeere, Embu County after he switched on his mobile phone.

Welp! That’s a harsh punishment. What he did was wrong but 140 years is a bit too much.
This could be a Generational curse.
Congratulations to the judge.Some animals do not deserve to live and this in fact a life sentence so that he never gets the chance to reoffend let him die with his weird habits.
