Uhuru Tears into Deputy President William Ruto over 'Hustler' Narrative
President Kenyatta has once again rubbished the “dangerous” political ideology of ‘Hustler versus Dynasty.’
Kenyatta said the narrative being peddled by Deputy President William Ruto and his associates was aimed at profiling people perceived to be from wealthy families.
While insisting that no one chooses where to be born, the president said the fact that he is the son of the country’s first president does not make him a dynasty.
“The way you hear them call me dynasty just because I was born by Kenyatta. Who chooses where he wants to be born? Tell them to stop insulting me, they will know where votes come from next year,” Kenyatta said while addressing 7,000 leaders from Mt. Kenya region at Sagana State Lodge on Saturday.
He added: “I plead with you not to believe in those lies peddled by people calling themselves hustlers.”
He further accused the propagators of the narrative of hoodwinking Kenyans with handouts, yet they opposed a revenue-sharing formula that would have benefitted the people of the Mt. Kenya region.
“You see them here come to tell you, ooh you have been neglected and throwing some few coins your way to hoodwink you, yet it’s the same money they have looted, your resources. Take that money when it comes, but don’t be blinded or misled.”
“If these people really care about you and this region, why would they the other day oppose the revenue sharing formula, yet it was keen on solving the problem of skewed resource allocation?” he posed.

I think that Uhuru's interest are best served by him staying above the fray, as opposed to getting marred in the mud of the current political campaigns. He is president, he already has that respect. He does not stand to benefit by not staying above the fray in my opinion.

Mr President - your DP has figured out a deceptive narrative to influence the aimless youth who do not want to work expecting Ruto to be fending for them. Ruto is a very dangerous man who is dividing the country right in the middle for his political gains. He should never be allowed to become president in 2022; win or loss, because Ruto will take Kenya to hell.

Revenue sharing and all those others in BBI is a task that can be taken by parliament and senate. It does not have to cost a whopping ksh 20 billion to implement.
Two people are busy trying to loot these ksh 20 billion and yet complaining of looters. We have to know that BBI is not a business enterprise. It’s does make for any one but rather another rabbit hole to take resources from the poor. Why isn’t this money be given out if indeed it’s available. If the central government is finding it hard to disperse 15% of the counties revenue as of today how then is it going to increase and pay for a more bloated government?
I don’t understand the logic of a sitting President coming out saying that people are dishing out looted money. Who then is in charge?
