Autopsy Reveals Cause of 'Killer Cop' Caroline Kangogo's Death

An autopsy has revealed the cause of police officer Caroline Kangogo’s death.

The examination conducted by Chief Government Pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor showed that Kangogo died of a single gunshot wound to the head.

Addressing journalists at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) mortuary in Eldoret where the procedure was done on Tuesday, Oduor said the deceased had no other injury apart from the bullet wound.

He said more samples have been collected from her body for analysis to determine whether she died at the scene.

Kangogo’s body will be moved back to Iten County Referral Hospital mortuary as the family makes burial arrangements. The autopsy was initially set to take place on Friday but was postponed due to the absence of the government pathologist.

Kangogo, who was wanted over the murder of Police Constable John Ogweno (28) and businessman Peter Ndwiga Njiru (32), was found dead on July 16th after being on the run for 10 days.

She is alleged to have shot herself dead inside a bathroom at her parents’ home in Nyawa village, Elgeyo-Marakwet. The 34-year-old corporal was found seated in a pool of blood inside the bathroom, with a Ceska pistol in her right hand.

'An autopsy conducted on Tuesday revealed the cause of death was an injury by the bullet that went through the spine to the brain and skull'. From standard newspaper.
This is why, we common sense dictates that she didn't kill herself.
Not trying to justify the lives she took.
But, this is not a person who woke one morning and decided that she was going on a killing spree.

Death should be a private affair only to the family, friends and those concerned in the government. It should not be a public happening. No public discussions or advertisements.
Let the dead RIP.
