Jubilee Party Top Organ Approves Pre-Election Pact with ODM

Jubilee Party’s National Management Committee (NMC) has given the ruling party the green light to form a coalition with ODM ahead of the 2022 general election.

The governing party’s highest-ranking organ made the decision following a meeting with Jubilee Parliamentary leadership on Tuesday.

The party secretariat was given the nod to engage ODM on a possible pre-election pact as the next general election approaches.

The agreement will be premised on the existing collaboration between the two parties in Parliament, and the good working relationship of its leaders, President Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.

“It is noteworthy that in the last four years, while ODM has carried its mandate as the official opposition party in both the Senate and the National Assembly, the party has remained a reliable ally to Jubilee Party in the passage of all critical bills that are important for the good governance of our country,” Jubilee secretary-general Raphael Tuju said in a statement.

Jubilee will also write to the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) member parties seeking to engage them in coalition talks. OKA is made up of Wiper, Amani National Congress (ANC), Kenya African National Union (Kanu), and Ford-Kenya parties.

Jubilee governing party's highest-ranking organ. I'm a member but did not know that the party has such an organ.

For those Mt. Kenya constituents who feel they are fed up with Uhuru, I can predict that five, six years after the 2022 elections, they will look back and realize that Uhuru is the only president who unified the country by reaching out to our brothers from the lake.

I share your sentiments too! Uhuru has done a good job I building up the country! Yes, loans have been borrowed but once the economy picks up Kenya will recover quickly!

But, I want to tell the youth that they are making a huge mistake by blindly following Ruto with his wheelbarrow matakonomics! Only a fool would not see how idiotic this bottom-down theory is and it is a total failure!

Also Ruto is very deceptive and he cares less about the plight of the youth in central!

If this is a true and righteous "Come together" it will survive. If it is one of the usual corruption and raw power it will soon disintegrate before our eyes.
For Raila, " If he does'nt shine; he does'nt stay"
Let us wish them well and watch as their intentions are revealed. They will finally either rise to power or fall so low never to be heard again. - It's time for changing seasons including the rulership based on money.
"May what is done in heaven be done on earth"
