President Ruto in Uganda to Attend Independence Day Celebrations

President Ruto has traveled to Uganda to attend the country’s 60th Independence Day celebrations set for Sunday.
The president left the country on Saturday afternoon in the company of First Lady Rachel Ruto, State House said in a statement posted on social media.
“President @WilliamsRuto has travelled to Kampala, Uganda, to attend the country’s 60th Independence Day celebrations. The President left Saturday afternoon,” read the statement.
Ruto was seen off by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Cabinet Secretary nominee Alfred Mutua at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
While in Uganda, President Ruto is expected to hold bilateral talks with his host President Yoweri Museveni, State House said.
Museveni received Ruto at Entebbe International Airport. The neighboring nation marks 60 years since it attained its independence from Britain in 1962.

@ Mugikuyu wa maheni
The man-made god has nothing to do with decadent human institutions such as church and politics. For example, when people sought refuge in Kiambaa church in Eldoret, the man-made god could not rescue the brainwashed people who hid in church. They were all roasted like nyama-choma.

Ruto has been President for less than a month. He has already traveled to Britain, USA, Ethiopia, and Uganda.
IMHO Ruto should focus on Kenya and let the Foreign Affairs Minister and Ambassadors represent him abroad.
He should be careful before we start calling him President Tangatanga.

😆😆...Its like you read my mind only that I didn't have Tangatanga in my mind. Can't agree with you more. These 2 men President Tangatanga and Rigathi are either too naive of their duty or purely ignorant. While Ruto is busy touring every event worldwide because Uhuru denied him that opportunity, Rigathi can't stop lamenting about what was done to him by Uhuru's police. That they stripped him Rigathi naked in front of his family is not relevant now. He can sue individuals involved to deter such indecent acts in the future but please stop the crap. Boys its time to forget the past and move on!.We need to save our girls who are being dehumanized in the Arabian peninsula. Latest one is breastfeeding a dog in this so called ' holy land'.God save our our poor souls tormented by Arabs..Why can't Ruto-Regathi duo stop the exodus to this hell of Arabworld?. To our greedy, get rich quickly Kenyans stop the notion that majuu is your heaven. Not every County is like the western world.I am surprised that the holy Joe/apostolic/priestly first and second wives have not found it fit to denounced this beastly acts being done to our hustler women..I supported Ruto because the alternative was dead but I'm now disappointed.

Imara, remember Magufuli maimed most of his opposition figures. He possibly was afraid to go out of country for fear of being toppled. Or rather didn’t aspire to venture into new markets for his country.
President WSR doesn’t need to do what Magufuli did. A man who believed that Covid-19 never existed but then that came to kill him. However, I had much admiration for the man’s fight against corruption.
Btw how is our Kivuta?
