Ruto Most Eloquent Orator in Kenya - Duale Says After Paris Cheers

Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale on Friday had nothing but praise for President William Ruto, hailing him as the greatest orator the nation has ever had. 

Duale's assertions came after President Ruto received enthusiastic cheers from the youth in France on Friday. Duale went on to say that Ruto's address at the Champs de Mars in Paris, was exemplary and captivating. He touted Ruto saying that his poise and eloquence while explaining the 'Going Green Movement' made him more Presidential.  

"Inflaming the audience under the historical structure of the Eiffel Tower with his magical words and superb presentation, President Ruto is probably the most eloquent, greatest orator we have had at the pinnacle of power. This, here, is Presidential! Advancing the Kenya Kwanza agenda on Environmental Conservation and Climate Issues, with a moving speech," he said.  

At every point in his speech, Ruto was cheered by the youth. As he concluded, he expressed his gratitude for their presence and attention. He then extended an invitation to the Africa Climate Summit slated to be held in Nairobi in September 2023.

According to Environment, Climate Change and Forestry CS Soipan Tuya, the summit anticipates setting up fresh partnerships that will raise climate financing and increase investments in low-carbon and climate-proof growth in Africa. The summit will focus on six main areas, such as climate finance, mitigation and green growth, climate adaptation and resilience, research, invention, and technology. The Africa Climate Summit and Africa Climate Week will include pre-events hosted by different stakeholders including youth, civil society, the private sector, and academia.
