Ruto Appoints Joshua Arap Sang to His Communications Team at State House
Former radio presenter Joshua Arap Sang has been appointed as the Director of Public Communications at the office of the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service in the State House.
President William Ruto made the appointment, recognizing Sang's two-decade-long career in the radio industry. Sang's previous employer was Media Max Emoo Radio which he left on March 24, 2023. Before his stint at the media outlet, Sang worked for the popular Kass FM.
"Thank you, Your Excellency President Dr William Samoei Ruto, for appointing me as Director, of Public Communication in the office of the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service," Sang said in a statement, confirming his new job.
Sang's career in the media industry became controversial due to his alleged involvement in the 2007 post-election violence which led to him being accused of committing crimes against humanity. The International Criminal Court (ICC) named Sang as one of the post-election violence suspects in 2012 along with William Ruto and Henry Kosgey.
However, the case was dismissed in September 2016 on account of insufficient evidence. Recently, Sang made a return to the media by joining Emoo FM, a vernacular radio station owned by Mediamax. Sang is the latest journalist to land a government job following in the footsteps of Hussein Mohammed and Francis Gachuri who were bestowed state jobs after Ruto took power.

We tend to use a tribal microscope view when looking at such appointments? Why, because one tends to look at it where it interests them. Kazi ziko mingi in the whole country. How many Kikuyu's are employed as CEO's, head of parastatals and such...Luos pia check around...those Mwadime's are somewhere. Tukuwe wasomi bana.
What about Leonard Mambo Mbotela? C'mon Ruto, give that veteran something.

Birds of feather flock together! They compared to kill Kenyans together and went to the ICC! So, the big bird is simply rewarding the small bird for the evil actions both men did.
Just another additional burden to the taxpayers with absolutely no value added. Sickening.

Ningependa kuona Jumba la Makumbusho (National Monument) limejengwa Kiambaa Eldoret, Naivasha, na pia Nairobi, ili wote waliouawa wasije wakasahauliwa kutokana na siasa mbovu za viongozi wachache wabaya tulio nao nchini.
Tunahitaji somo jipya nchini linaloitwa KKK (Kufikiri Kwa Kina) au kwa Kiingereza CTS(Critical Thinking Skills). Kwa nini? Samoei anawezaje kuwachagua watu wa taifa lake wengi katika nchi iliyo na mataifa 70? Anafanya hivyo kwa sababu hatumii KKK au CTS anapowachagua watu kazini.
Somo hili (KKK) lafaa liwekwe kwenye mtaala (curriculum) ya nchi ya Kenya. Kwa nini? Tangu tupate uhuru 12/12/1963, mataifa mawili ya Kenya ndiyo yametawala nchi tangu Waingereza waondoke.
Wakati umefika sasa, mataifa haya madogo mawiliyaende likizoni ili tupate "hewa safi" ya uongozi mpya nchini kutoka kwa viongozi wengine wa mataifa 68 yaliyosahauliwa tangu 1963.
