Mbeere South Police Commander Harrison Njuguna said on Tuesday that the DCI officers from Kiritiri Police Station have initiated an investigation to uncover the mystery surrounding the 45-year-old man's death. One of the brothers, David Kinyua, surrendered to the police while the other, Kelvin Macharia, was apprehended by the area chief and villagers after he was found asleep at his home.

"We are holding the two brothers and will seek permission from the Siakago law courts to hold them further as we pursue more information that will lead to a conclusive investigation," said Njuguna.

The commander said the authorities have taken the body of the deceased to the Embu Level 5 Hospital mortuary for a postmortem which will assist in further investigations. A nearby resident reported that the brothers attempted to make Mwangi leave their mother's home where he had stayed overnight on Sunday, but their efforts were unsuccessful. According to a villager, a fight erupted when the deceased confronted the two men because he wanted to spend the night with their mother.

The deceased claimed that they were lovers but the brothers objected and declared that only their father was allowed to spend the night with their mother. According to reports, the woman currently resides in the matrimonial home while her husband has moved to a different property in Kiambere Ward due to rumored marital differences.

The brothers should have gone a step further and pulled his balls out.
The father is alive and this 45yr old behaved like an idiot.
Also check the customs of his Meru people.
Please also check meaning of taboo.

There is a case eerily similar to this in Kandara constituency. The major difference being that the man "being replaced" was deceased.
Very sad.Couldn't they just cut his gonards and let him go?

    Comrade Maxiley,
The worst thing a man can do to another man is F$$k his wife in his own bed. Get a hotel, banana plantation etc, but not in my bed. The only difference here is, the boys did it. If the mam of the house had done it, he would have gone home scot free.

  5. MaxileySep 10, 2023

@Kora Kanini I totally agree with you. F##44King Someone's wife is bad enough, but to do it in the same bed he romps with the same wife,is emasculation of highest level. That said, for the love of me,I cannot wrap my mind around why some people have 3somes.Btw, I bet most of these three somes are aman with two women, and not 2 men with a woman, except probably in movies or porn.
Hey @ comrade,I value your opinion. What is your take on polyandry?

I take it that, these words were directed to only aparticular tribe that speaks the language, and perhaps those who learned it somehow...Otherwise translation could have been given.Anyway,I would think that @Suluhisho is condemning the act of flagrant display of breaking a taboo.Could be wrong...
This is a manfestation of cultural and traditional errosion of apeople.

As a son of Mūmbi, it's not my mother tongue but I understand every word

Ndugu @ Maxiley: The translation of the post that I wrote in Kamba Language.

"The killing of a person is not part of the original tradition of the COHO (Continent of Human Origins) people. These two men committed an unpardonable mistake for terminating the life of their mother's boyfriend."

    Comrade SULUHISHO,
They were only protecting what's rightfully their dad's.
Try this sh$t in my house. You will be swimming with the fish.

    @ Kora Kanini (Chura mdogo)

Unanichekesha sana unaponiita mimi pamoja na Ndugu yetu @ Maxiley: "Comrade."

  12. MaxileySep 9, 2023

Thank you @ Suluhisho. That's what happens when people resort to their emotions instead of their intelect. They will not escape the punishment.I think senseless killings like this one, should be punished by also eliminating the criminals from this earth. No point feeding them 'for life' in prison, at our expense.

  13. MakOnyangoSep 7, 2023

What's up with this men called Mwangi? They seem to always make bad decisions with irreversible consequences. No wonder we have so many Kamaus, Mainas, and Njoroges because they tend to use the right head not the one hidden where the sun don't shine.

  14. JujuSep 7, 2023

Them fackin brothers ought to be hanged by the neck until pronounced dead, they have no business deciding who their mother should love and have sexual relationships with, zero!!!

  15. MaxileySep 7, 2023

@ Juju, I agree with you. I liken what they have done to honor-killings- some followers of Prophet Mohammad employ.Granded noboby wants to see their mother conoodling with someone other than the father, these two were heavy-handed in their punishement.
I will let social scientists grapple with causes, and effects of human behavior, but I would like someone to tell me why love, and sex, things that are supposed to be pleasent, and somehow enjoyable to homosapiens cause so much pain and suffering...I would think after millions of years of evolving,by now we would do better.I guess we may need another million years...Strange considering how we have advanced in technology.

  16. SimamaImaraSep 8, 2023

Feminized man is an epidemic. Who does enter another man's house to make himself comfortable like a boss. Was it love potion?

  17. MaxileySep 10, 2023

Why are our women silent on this issue? They are "equal" participants...in taking a bite at the delicious apple.
