MP Sudi Questions Kalonzo Musyoka Over Viral Photo With Late PA's Son in Kitui

Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has publicly called out Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka following the circulation of a controversial photograph over the weekend.

The image, which features Musyoka alongside a young man who bears a striking resemblance to him, has sparked widespread speculation and commentary. The incident occurred during Musyoka's visit to Kitui, where he was offering condolences to the family of his late Personal Assistant, Daniel Kimanzi. During this trip, Musyoka took a photograph with one of Kimanzi's sons, drawing attention due to their uncanny resemblance.

In his remarks, Sudi expresses astonishment at the resemblance and implies that Musyoka may not be transparent with the public regarding personal matters. "I want to urge us to be Christians and always speak the truth, even if you are not one," Sudi stated. He continued by referencing the photograph, remarking on Musyoka's attendance at the burial event and raising questions about the relationship depicted.

Sudi further urges Musyoka to clarify the nature of his connection to the young man in the photo, accusing him of potentially misleading the public. "You are lying to people that you are in the church; why don't you just be straightforward as I am? Whatever you do should be known; let people know the number of children and wives you have, but instead, many people choose to be deceitful," Sudi added.

As this story develops, eyes are on Musyoka for a possible response. Historically vocal on emerging political issues, he has not yet commented on the photograph controversy, which is notable given his recent proactive engagement in political discourse. In a related context, President William Ruto also targeted Musyoka during his recent working tour in the North Eastern region.

Ruto suggested that Musyoka's expertise in animal vaccination is lacking and recommended that he focus instead on agricultural practices, specifically green gram farming. In response, Musyoka has shared images and videos of his own farming efforts, seemingly countering Ruto's critique.
