Death Announcement: James Ngugi of Baltimore, Maryland

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of James Ngugi on Monday, February 5th, 2024 at Upper Chesapeake Hospital in BelAir MD. James was husband to Naomi Ngugi, father to Jeff Chege, Michael Thuo, and Amber Wangari, all of Baltimore.
 
James was the son of Mr Geoffrey Donald Ngugi (Kenya) and Mrs. Janet Ngugi (Baltimore). He was brother to Dr. Winnie Kamau (Kenya), Dr. Julie Weche, Andrew Muchiri and Karuri Ngugi (Baltimore), John Muchiri, Esther Kariuki, Francis Ngugi, Wambui Ngugi, Kawira Ngugi, and John Ngugi all in Kenya, Louise Mutuiri (Canada), Patricia Nduta Njoroge (Australia).

James was son-in-law to the late Grace Nyathira Thuo and Michael Kimani Thuo. He was brother-in-law to the late Joseph Ndichu and the late Stephen Gikaru, Agnes Nyambura Thuo, John Ngure, Jonathan Njenga, Mary Kimani, Mary Wanjiku Kareithi (Kenya) and Joyce Wanjiru Magu (USA).

Family and friends will meet for prayers and support on Tuesday 2/6/2024 and Thursday 2/8/24 from 7pm-9 pm at Elimu Center on 9600 Pulaski Park Drive. Suite 115, Middle River, MD 21220 and on Zoom.
