It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the untimely death of Mr. Cyrus Jason Githengu (Baba Attamay) of Knoxville, Tennessee which occurred on October 1st 2024.

The late Mr. Cyrus was loving husband to Serah Githengu Father to Attamay Githengu, Tabitha Githengu, Jason Githengu, Susan Githengu, Beth Mary Githengu and Margaret Githengu Firmly grounded in his faith he lived a life devoted to God. He was a protector and a provider who had unconditional love for his family.

Family and Friends are meeting at his home 1407 Woodcrest Dr, Knoxville,Tennessee and on Zoom every evening at 7pm.

Memorial service will be held on October 12th 2024 at 3pm at Jarnigan & Son Mortuary on 2823 Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Knoxville, Tennessee 37914

Burial service is tentatively on October 22nd 2024 at A.I.C. Magina, Kenya. He will be laid to rest at his home at Mbauini, Kijabe.

We are appealing to friends and all well-wishers in the community to contribute the immense financial and emotional burden of laying him to rest on 10/22/2024. GoFundMe page.
