Kenya’s Brigid Kosgei is the new world record holder for the fastest ran half-marathon by a female athlete.
Ms. Kosgei set a new world record when she won the Great North Run in Tyneside, the United Kingdom on Sunday in a time of one hour, four minutes and 28 seconds.
She ran 23 seconds quicker to smash the previous world record set in 2017 by her compatriot Joyciline Jepkosgei.
The 2019 London Marathon champion led a Kenyan sweep of the top four places, with Magdalyne Masai emerging second (1:07:36) and Linet Masai third (1:07:44).
Britain’s Mo Farah won the men’s elite race for a record sixth successive year in 59 minutes 7 seconds ahead of Ethiopia’s Tamirat Tola (59:13), while Abdi Nageeye of Netherlands claimed bronze in 59:55.

Ero be specific don’t say all say who and who the hero broke the world record and she is the world record holder you can’t take that away from her. Now you come out attacking all Kalenjin ero. Be a little patriotic and apologize to the community if you know the land grabbers since you seem to know them call them by name tapala emuno

@ Guest; the same way you use your ass to think, your legs to run away after committing a crime and your fingers to pick your nose & stick in your ass is the Kaleos being patriotic raising our Kenyan flag high around the world and leading the country. Si wachunga usalama ni hao, na olympics ni hao pia na Hawaringi kama Babayao! Mavi ya kuku wewe!

The same way Kalenjins have shattered land grabbing and stealing of public funds.
