IEBC Grants Presidential Candidates, Observers Access to Its Servers

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) says that its has opened its servers to all election stakeholders wishing to scrutinize the vote transmission system.

In a statement through its official Twitter handle on Tuesday, the electoral commission said it will grant access rights to presidential aspirants, party agents and all observers to verify the results relayed through the electronic for transparency purposes.

“The commission has provided access rights to Presidential Candidates, Agents and Observers who made requests; to the results transmission server from day of Elections 26/10/17 till results were declared,” read the tweet.

"Today, the Commission has granted Presidential Candidates, Agents and Observers access to the Results Transmission Server."

The electoral commission also said it will “avail the logs to others upon request.”

This comes amid controversy over what is the correct voter turnout in the October 26th repeat election, which IEBC put at around 7.6 million voters (39 percent).

In a statement on Tuesday, National Super Alliance (NASA) alleged that only 2.5 million voters took part in the repeat election.

“There is so little national support for Uhuru now that even as the sole candidate, he needed massive rigging to hide the fact that an abysmally low number of Kenyans turned out to vote – a total of 2.5 million or less than 20 per cent of registered voters,” said the statement.

IEBC had earlier explained that the Kiem kits cannot be accurate in giving the actual figures of number of voters who turned out to vote.

“In essence, transmission by the KIEMS kits will not be accurate in terms of absolute numbers. We are not going to rely on transmission from the kits but instead we will be using the transmissions via Forms 34B,” explained Commissioner Abdi Guliye.

Uhuru votes...7,483,103...if you add these votes 7+4+8+3+1+0+3 you get 26...his birthday date. 🎂🍰🥂 . Now these nasa fools are saying ati this is proof of rigging by computa - ishi mera kai sitoi kindu gitagwo coincidence - iebc has opened the servers for the world to see ... hata raila kikitaka kulala ndani ya server kinaweza lala - labda kinafikiri kikilala ndani ya server kitatoka kikiwa president ... meni giki githee ni kimundu fure muno

The results of Forms 34b should in essence equal to the aggregate total from the Kiem Kits since for the voter to vote they must be
identified in the system digitally by those same Kits. YOU HAVE COOKED THE NUMBERS, WACHENI UPUSI!

Mbingu: You must have been in the kitchen helping them to cook the numbers. No wonder they tasted awful. Where did you learn to cook Mbingu? In the NASA kitchens? Next time, you will not be allowed into the IEBC kitchens.

I bet n(asa)rm will not look in there. They prefer breaking in through the window to preserve the sanctity of their conspiracy theories. Its like a guest who insist going through the window because on pipping, they thought they saw something move. Going through the door does not fit in their "discover something" paradigm.
