Joho: Journey to Secession Unstoppable

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho says that he will continue to push for secession of the coast region and acknowledged that the quest may take up to 10 years.

Speaking during the swearing-in of six county executives on Thursday, Joho said the breakaway will allow "real self-determination and good governance" as local resources will benefit residents.

Joho particularly mentioned income earned from Kenya Ports Authority, which he claimed benefits a few individuals, saying it would be used to improve lives of the locals. Joho has constantly claimed that the dry port to be constructed by the government in Naivasha "is a plot to sabotage Mombasa economically".

"People will feel their voices count and marginalisation will no longer be used as a political tool but for positive action," he said on Thursday.

"We will make every person understand why the journey to secession is irreversible," he added.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) deputy party leader further hit out at former secessionist group, Mombasa Republican Council (MRC), which is opposed to Joho separation push.

"Unlike them (MRC), we recognise Coast is Kenya but we want self-rule through legal means," he said.

"We must succeed after one month, a year or two, five years or even 10 years. This is a conversation that we must have."

"Kenya won't be the first and last country to agitate for secession. It has happened elsewhere," he said.

In 10 years Mr. Joho, you will be too old and your passion will have evaporated. All I can tell you is: Good luck on your quest.

Sokora, his agitation on secession is intended to mask investigation into the allegations that he did not even graduate from secondary school, let alone having a college degree. And that he used fake documents.A serious offense.

I hate to tell you Joho but most Kenyan don't consider you a Kenyan in the first place. Personally, I think you are lucky Southern Yemenis dreamer who was brought to Kenya as a young boy by a family of illegal immigrants from Yemen. As is case with NASA addicts latterly Huron Mwau has provided you with lethal doses of bhang to smoke and you are now hallucinating on how to partition Kenya into two countries so that you can have coastal strip all by yourself to do drug business. Joho, you also have striking similarities with Middle Eastern terrorists. When I look at you I see a terrorist. Do you know even now you are a Governor I still cannot fly in the same flight or ride in the same bus with you? Terrorist are highly unpredictable and have zero conscious. With the promise of thirteen Virgins I am sure you can blow yourself without a moment notice anywhere at any time. Have you wondered why Uhuru and Ruto don't want you in their meetings? That's the reason.

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho is one of successful stories of the so called dreamers generation-Children that were brought to Kenya by their illegal immigrants parents from India and Middle East. Joho was brought to Kenya at the age of three by his parents from Oman but through successful corrupt administrations he has been able to buy Kenyan birth certificate, Kenyan ID, certificate of primary education, high school certificate and a fake degree from Mt Kenya University. He is now under investigation by various agencies. Joho is a smart man who knows how the corrupt system of Kenya works. Since he knows he is under investigation he want to secession threat as a card to bargain with the government.

Any secession has to go thru a national referendum and win 65% votes to pass. I do not see Kenyans voting to allow Coast region to secede.... Joho D- brain is dangerous to himself and to all of us...
